It's always very hard to produce good pic with black background. It's even harder to produce on an moving object. With lots of trial and error, finally i feel satisfied. Enjoy :D

Sent this fellow for the upcoming betta & guppy competition in Dubai.

Reasons why I chose him is because of its fantastic finnage especially broad dorsal fin, muscular body, intense orange and clean with not much irid found. Wish it bring me some good result. Cheers :D

Finally I won the competition and got trophy for it. I am very happy for myself that I've won Champion for my orange/yellow hmpk which represented for my country in Malaysia.

Betta Breeding Process

Grizzle Hmpk

The sire comes from the background of fancy dragon same goes to the dame. Conditioned them for several weeks and finally bred it when i was free.

First, the male will wrap the female to squeeze and fertilize the eggs. fertilizing the eggs. This process is called as embrace.

As they embrace, the female gets cramp and several amount of its eggs are squeezed out. Both male and female work together to collect the fallen eggs and put it into the bubble nest built by the male. The process will keep on repeating until the female has laid all her eggs.

After all the eggs have been laid. It's time to remove the female and the male will look after the eggs to make sure fallen eggs are safely put back into the bubble nest.

No doubt i love it, big size but aggressive. Muscular body, nice pattern of koi, clear and dalmation. Its pattern will still change from time to time.

Spent my weekend on capturing some photo of this male. He has a muscular body, nice pointing forward dorsal fin, broad and stable fins(ears) and its character is fierce enough as you can see from the picture below. Hope you guy like it as much as i did. Cheers :D

Love its flaring posture and its pointing forward dorsal fin, which makes it looks so attractive when it comes to flare. Since it's a fancy marble its colour pattern will keep on changing, it's great to see and enjoyable to see your betta changing its colour pattern from time to time. :D
